ARINC to Provide New Jersey Transit with Newark Light Rail Central Control System

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Incorporated today announced it has been awarded a contract to provide a new central control system for NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail operations.

ARINC will design and install an integrated Light Rail Central Control System, based on the company’s industry-leading Advanced Information Management (AIM^®) Rail Control software platform. The fully-integrated AIM system will provide NJ TRANSIT with a highly reliable and scalable solution for its centralized rail operations.
